meet Camecia Clark, LPC-S.

FOUNDER OF VISIONS OF SERENITY COUNSELING

Camecia Clark is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) in Texas and Louisiana and is also licensed to practice in Florida and Georgia. With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, she brings a deep understanding of clinical practice, ethical care, and professional development.

Camecia earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Texas Southern University. She went on to receive her Master’s degree in Behavioral Science with a concentration in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Houston–Clear Lake. Her academic foundation, combined with extensive field experience, informs her strategic, solution-focused, and client-centered approach to mental health and professional consultation.

Camecia has worked extensively in crisis counseling, providing vital support to individuals experiencing acute emotional and psychological distress. She is highly experienced in conducting clinical assessments and preparing documentation for clients navigating the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Short-Term Disability processes. Her work ensures that clients receive clinically sound and medically necessary documentation that supports their mental health recovery and time away from work.

Although she no longer provides direct counseling services, Camecia continues to make a lasting impact through clinical supervision, consultation, professional training, and FMLA and Short-Term Disability documentation. As the founder of Visions of Serenity Counseling, she offers supervision to provisionally licensed clinicians, emphasizing ethical practice, clinical decision-making, and growth. She also trains licensed therapists to improve their documentation for workplace leave and disability claims, as well as how to successfully start and structure private practices.

Camecia is the author of two books. Am I Next? is a children’s book that explores a young boy’s emotional response to racial injustice and community trauma. The Sparkle Within encourages young girls to embrace modesty, self-worth, and biblical confidence. She is also the host of an annual Mother-Daughter Tea, an event designed to support healing and

strengthen the relationship between mothers and daughters through intentional conversation and emotional connection.

Camecia remains dedicated to creating spaces where healing, clarity, and transformation can take place for individuals, families, and clinicians alike.
